The Malaria Pf/Pan Ag Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood) is a rapid lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection and differentiation of HRP-II (Histidine-rich protein II) and pLDH (Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase) specific for Plasmodium falciparum. Fingerstick whole blood and venipuncture whole blood specimens from symptomatic patients suspected of having Malaria. The Malaria Pf/Pan Ag Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood) is intended for use by trained health care or laboratory professionals or other health care professionals who have received appropriate training. This product can be used by trained lay providers working in point-of-care settings in resource-limited lower- and middle-income countries. This product is not intended for self-testing. The product is not automated and must be manually performed and interpreted by the trained user.
